This Calgary-based organization is committed to bringing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to life for young minds from 4–12 through award-winning products and for Canadian high-school and collegiate-level youth with their Tech Futures Challenge program. It has invested more than $130 million into Canada’s innovation ecosystem.

Empowering Youth Through STEM

MindFuel's mission is to develop an innovation mindset in youth by infusing them with a passion to identify real-world problems and a drive to find solutions. Their programs are designed to spark curiosity and fuel inspiration, helping students create their "AHA!" moments by focusing on design thinking, entrepreneurialism, computational thinking, coding, synthetic biology and more. MindFuel prepares youth to thrive in future careers and is a leader in developing youth innovation talent.

A Network of Collaboration

MindFuel is an ideal collaborator for CRIN. One of our five sectors is Talent Builders, which focuses on youth, post-secondary students, young professionals, and those transitioning in their careers. Youth are the next generation of innovators who will lead the energy industry, clean tech and innovation ecosystems, and countless industries that rely on STEM experts.

CRIN is proud to be sharing the Emissions Reduction Theatre stage with MindFuel at the Global Energy Show Canada on June 10, 2025 to showcase youth innovation. MindFuel is also represented on CRIN’s Talent Sector group and its Member Engagement and Outreach Sub-Committee.
