Creative Links (Pat Hufnagel-Smith and Cheryl Knight) is planning our second Energy Needs Tech Talent Employer Forum scheduled for May 6 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, ETC and Ampersand Conference Centre. We have spots for two more employers and invite CRIN members involved in energy industry technology to participate. By attending, you can expect to meet tech talent with education and experience in fields such as: software development, product management and data management.

Benefits and participation options are described below.

Benefits of participating include opportunities to:
• Educate talent about how the energy industry is using technology to address key business, environmental and social issues/concerns.
• Connect with tech talent interested in working in or with the energy industry and perhaps fill current or future positions.

Participation Options:
• 2:00 p.m. Set up for hiring/networking event and employer meet and greet – Ampersand Conference Centre
o Option for your company to have a table and displays/swag to meet with talent
o Meet & greet for employers and hosting organizations; refreshments served

• 3:00pm - 3:55pm: Employer showcase - main event area in the ETC
o Opportunity for each company to present for 5 - 6 minutes on (ppt slides welcome!):
 How/why they use digital technologies or what digital technologies/solutions they offer the energy industry
 Career opportunities
 Employee value proposition

• 4:00pm - 6:00pm: Hiring/networking event - Ampersand Conference Centre
o Opportunity for talent to connect with companies offering the best match for their skills and qualifications
o Companies can treat this a hiring event if they have open positions or a way to connect with tech talent for future hiring
o Anticipate most of the talent to be job seekers with tech skills who will bring their resume
